Humanitarian Surgical Missions
The pictures and videos below were taken from humanitarian surgical missions in Uganda where Dr. Margolis leads a vesicovaginal fistula repair team annually. He regularly participates in such activities through a non-profit group called Medlend. Training local Ugandan surgeons in fistula repair is a central aspect of the missions as well.
2023 Medical Mission Update
During MedLend’s medical mission to Uganda in February, 2023, Dr. Margolis partnered with two Ugandan surgeons whom he has mentored previously and who have become expert surgeons in their own right.
