Dr. Margolis’ expertise includes repair of fistulas involving the bladder, rectum, ureters and bowels; surgical treatment of endometriosis; vaginoplasty for congenital abnormalities such as Mullerian agenesis; and repair of trauma from prior obstetric injuries.
He has trained students and doctors from prestigious universities in the U.S. including Emory University, Northwestern University, Stanford University, UCLA, the University of Wisconsin and internationally in Peru, Ghana and Uganda.
Dr. Margolis has trained Pelvic Surgery fellows who have gone on to practice in academic centers throughout the US and Canada. He has lectured extensively on theses subject matters worldwide and has published articles in major peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Margolis has served as a trusted consultant surgeon to Bay Area physicians for over ten years.
